This page is to help keep the members of Division 8 informed on what might be new and interesting to them as members of The Four rivers Division.

From Geri McKee, SO-PB: we have the schedule for The Ripples publication dates and deadlines.  This is YOUR newsletter so take part and contribute to it!

As I did last year I am going to follow themes for each publication.

The first one will be the Awards, Change of Watch, New officers and changes in education. manuals and other important items within the Auxiliary. Please add everything you can to this topic.

The second publication will be in June the theme will be How the Coast Guard and Auxiliary work together along with the Corp of Engineers. We are on big unit and we need to let everyone know what we do. Please think about the information you have stored as you plan patrols, education and community events.

The third publication will be in Sept. As last year this will be a recap of the year. Make yourself proud take lots of pictures and articles on what you do this year. VE,s patrols, night training, education, saving lives and limbs, Teaching the water ways, You all know what you do, just remember to let me know so the world will know.

The last publication will be in December -- This edition will be on how strictly on Education, what we do when it is cold. preparing everyone for the warm days on the water, I would like to get information on what we do with the fishermen, the barge companies, the water patrol, all the things we know but some times just need a refresher so we can continue.

If you have any suggestions please let me know, otherwise I will think you all like my ideas.

Please remember submissions are on the first of each month I publish so March 1 -- June 1st, Sept. 1 and Dec. 1
