The 4 Rivers Division is named for the rivers that are served
by the members of Division 8, 8th Eastern Region. The Division stretches
from Memphis, TN to The Ohio River in Western Kentucky and encompasses the Mississippi,
the Ohio, The Tennessee and Cumberland Rivers. The Tennessee and Cumberland
both are part of flood control and power generation projects that form Kentucky
Lake and Lake Barkley. Both of these rivers are unique in that they flow
northward to the Ohio.
The Division is composed of 5 flotillas located at Paris
Landing, TN, Aurora, KY, Cadiz,
KY, Kuttawa, KY and Paducah,
KY, also known as the Lower Ohio Valley Flotilla.
